The Crafted Home maintains relationships with front-range Colorado companies that are experts in the receiving, unpacking, handling and delivery of fine furniture. Items arrive locally, pad-wrapped or boxed, and are unpacked and inspected prior to delivery to your home. Delivery includes placing and setup of the furniture in your home, and a final dusting or coat of polish before we leave. If a return is necessary due to damage or incorrect shipping, we handle the return for you. Don't be fooled by companies that offer free tailgate delivery. In many instances, the 18-wheeler can't even get into your neighborhood. And if they do, you are responsible for getting the product from the "tailgate" of the truck into your home. Imagine your large Craftsman furnishing, weighing perhaps 200 pounds or more, teetering precariously on the edge of a semi-truck tailgate - chest-high above the street! And you, alone, are responsible for getting it off the truck while the driver paces and curses under his breath! If that isn't enough to scare you (it should), consider that undiscovered freight damage is typically compensated at 50 cents on the dollar once you've signed for the goods and the truck drives away.
